I admit. I didn't know him before. Even when Ronit Elkabetz came up with the wonderful yellow dress, I couldn't remember his name. Now, after the comprehensive exhibition about Albert Elbaz's life and his success story in the world, I probably will not forget his name in the future.

He helped others create a better version of themselves

In the exhibition I discovered a man with a desire to do good in the world, with a belief that his clothes have a positive effect on women. I discovered a man who valued women. He assessed their strength, their power, their ability to influence and change.

"Women are a global, unique nations"

I enjoyed the exhibition and connected to both things more than anything. One of them is a dining table with Albert Elbaz. There was a table set for dinner and invited visitors to sit and dine together with Albert because he used to do his gatherings during meals. If you ask me now, "With which living or dead personality would you choose to sit at dinner?" I would answer Albert Elbaz. I add hem to my list, not because of his clothes but because of his ideas, his messages, and his admiring attitude toward women.

His speeches from all these years were projected on the plates in two languages, Hebrew and English. It was pleasant to listen to him, to discover that he had a humor to to laugh about the life, himself and more. I'm sad. I didn't know him in reality.

The second thing I particularly liked was an old video in which he is interviewed in Hebrew about his works. Albert was a second-year student at Shenkar, and even then he had self-confidence. Thanks to the exhibition's curator, Yaara Kedar, for presenting a rare archival piece.

"What is the obsession with looking good? What about doing good?"

One of Albert's quotes when he spoke at one of the ceremonies. Albert became a brand himself. Illustrators drew him, sculpters sculpt his image, animators animate him, sew his image and in all cases he have the heavy glasses, suit and bow appeared. These hallmarks deliberately became Albert's identity marks.

Albert did god in his life and taught others to focus on what really matters. I'll probably never know what it feels like to wear his clothes. But it also doesn't matter that much to me because I'm busy doing good in the world.

Summarize

Albert Elbaz was first all an illustrator and then a fashion designer. At the age of 10 he painted new costumes. For his latest collection, he illustrated each exhibition invitation separately and created a collection of illustrations that must be worth a much money after his death, Does it not?

I hope that the exhibition will become mobile so that more people will get to know him up close.
